Аннотация. В данной статье автор анализирует участие СССР в урегулировании палестинского конфликта на первом этапе, во время передачи Великобританией вопроса в ООН. На основе материалов различных органов ООН и архивных документов МИД СССР выявлено изменение позиции СССР по отношению к проблеме, его роль в принятии важнейших решений Организацией Объединенных Наций.

Abstract. In this article, the author analyzes the participation of the USSR in the settlement of the Palestinian conflict on the first stage, when it was transferred to the UN by the Great Britain, the mandatory state. On the basis of the various UN materials and documents of the Archive of Foreign Policy of the Russian federation the author reveals changes of Soviet position in relation to the problem, its role in taking decisions by the United Nations.
