В данном докладе рассматривается проблема определения реального вклада видного казахского ученого-филолога академика С.С.Кирабаева в современное развитие литературоведческой науки в Казахстане. Отмечается, что с первых шагов в науке С.С.Кирабаев проявил способность видеть национальный тип творческого мышления, описать стилевые особенности его проявления в художественных произведениях казахских советских писателей и поэтов. В книгах последних двух десятилетий С.С.Кирабаев ввел в научный и культурный оборот многие имена поэтов и писателей близкого и далекого прошлого, осуществил системное научное описание идейно-художественных достоинств их произведений

This paper focuses on determining the actual contribution of the prominent Kazakh philologist and academician S.S.Kirabaev to the contemporary development of literary criticism and literary studies in Kazakhstan. It is noted that from the first steps on his scholarly path S.S.Kirabaev demonstrated the ability to perceive the national type of creative thinking and describe its stylistic modes as manifested in the works of Kazakh Soviet writers and poets. In the books of the last two decades S.S.Kirabaev introduced into the scientific and cultural discourse many names of poets and writers of near and distant past and made a systematic scientific description of the ideological and artistic merits of their works, thus substantially complementing the overall picture of the Kazakhs’ cultural genesis.
