Анотація. Стаття присвячена аналізу ідеї фінітізаціі філософії. У статті розглядаються умови виникнення та обґрунтування даного дискурсу і його легітимність. Пропонується трактування ідеї кінця філософії як філософської рефлексії щодо смерті в її постмодерністської версії. Передбачається використання образу смерті для пояснення специфіки переходу до нової світоглядної парадигми.

Abstract. The article is devoted the analysis of idea of end of philosophy. The terms of origin and ground of this discourse and his legitimacy are examined in the article. Interpretation of idea of end of philosophy is offered as to the philosophical reflection in regard to death in its postmodern version. The use of appearance of death is assumed for explanation of specific of passing to the new world view paradigm.
